|Description=An ancient design originally intended to shoot down enemy aircraft with its mix of autocannon and lasers. This 60 ton Mech has had many different configuration developed over the centuries with the latest one able to mount a significant load of electronics.

|Strengths=One look at the Rifleman clearly demonstrates its intended function. Designed for deployment to rear areas where it can use its long range weaponry to engage enemies from a relatively safe distance. Extremely fast torso with a full 360ΒΊ of twist range enable the Rifleman to act as a highly efficient, and deadly mobile gun turret. Weapons are well balance between energy and ballistic types, and are well distributed for increased survivability. [[ECM]], [[BAP]] and the [[IFF Jammer]] make the chassis extremely stealthy and able to navigate active combat zones in relative secrecy. Top speed is good, but chassis agility factors are not remarkable. |Weaknesses=Armor protection is extremely low for a mech in its weight class, especially that of the rear torso. As it is not primarily utilized in forward areas of operation, this is not usually a concern, though small insurgency units can pose a threat if they are able to engage it at close range. The electronics suite, when fully configured, will decrease missile lock times to a great degree, and long range missiles are an effective counter to the Rifleman's natural operations. The arms contain all offensive weaponry except for the 2 slot beam rack on the chin, as they stand well exposed, away from the torso, they can be targeted from almost any angle of attack.
