Added [[Jump Jets]] eliminate one of its weaknesses but has decreased its speed and maneuverability. |Strengths=The Mad Cat MKII's capability to be optimized for any operation is nearly equal to the [[Daishi]], and the big Cat demands respect wherever encountered. Already a ballistic heavy design, the Omni slots allow it to bring a massive punch to the battle. For missile operations, the Mad Cat MKII is able to flood an enemies defenses with [[LRM]]s and the [[Jump Jets]] give it access to superior fire support locations. An outstanding sniper or support unit as well as a capable close range brawler, this mech is a good choice for any pilot desiring a powerful, but balanced chassis.<ref>[http://trm.mektek.net/index_mechs.htm MechWarrior4 - Technical Reference Manual]</ref> |Weaknesses=Few weaknesses make this battlemech a tough customer. Probe the legs or rear torso for insufficient armor, as many pilots will attempt to save weight during configuration in order to maximize firepower. The arms carry a significant amount of the total offensive weaponry. However, they are not easily damaged and the Mad Cat MKII remains a formidable threat even with their loss. Missile racks are the most vulnerable part of the chassis, and should be targeted quickly if the configuration indicates a missile support function.<ref>[http://trm.mektek.net/index_mechs.htm MechWarrior4 - Technical Reference Manual]</ref> |Acceleration=5.56 |Best Acceleration=11.81 m/sec [[Gargoyle]] |Worst Acceleration=2 m/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Deceleration=8.39 |Best Deceleration=17.71 m/sec [[Gargoyle]] |Worst Deceleration=2.5 m/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Turn Rate=0.39 |Best Turn Rate=0.44 º/sec |Worst Turn Rate=0.26 º/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Twist Speed=50 |Best Twist Speed=70 º/sec [[Gargoyle]] |Worst Twist Speed=30 º/sec [[Behemoth]]\[[Behemoth II]] |Elevation=30 |Best Elevation=50º [[Annihilator]] |Worst Elevation=30º |Heat Capacity=65.0 |Best Heat Capacity=74.3 [[Annihilator]] |Worst Heat Capacity=53.7 [[Awesome]] |Torso Twist=80 |Best Torso Twist=360º [[Blood Asp]] |Worst Torso Twist=80º |Damage Multiplier=1.06 |Best Damage Multiplier=1.15 [[Mauler]] |Worst Damage Multiplier=1 [[Supernova]] |Kill Bonus=250 |Best Kill Bonus=250 |Worst Kill Bonus=250 |Max Armor=525 |Best Max Armor=525 points |Worst Max Armor=525 points |Free Tonnage=70.6 |Best Free Tonnage=70.6 tons |Worst Free Tonnage=67.6 tons [[Highlander]] |base speed=47.99 |1st upgrade=1.0 |1st speed=52.99 |2nd upgrade=3.0 |2nd speed=58.0 |3rd upgrade=6.0 |3rd speed=63.0 |4th upgrade=10.0 |4th speed=68.0 |5th upgrade=15.0 |5th speed=73.01 |6th upgrade=21.0 |6th speed=78.01 |7th upgrade=28.0 |7th speed=83.02 |8th upgrade=36.0 |8th speed=88.02 |final upgrade=36.0 |top speed=88.02 |engine size=Large |increments=5 |Second Mech Picture Link=madcatmkiislots.jpg |Left Arm Slots=3 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Direct Fire]] |Right Arm Slots=3 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Direct Fire]] |Left Torso Slots=2 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Ballistic]]<br>2 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Omni]] |Right Torso Slots=2 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Energy]]<br>2 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Omni]] |Special 1 Slots=3 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Missile]] |Special 2 Slots=3 Slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|Missile]] |ECM=No |BAP=Yes |Jump Jets=Yes |LAMS=Yes |Enhanced Optics=No |IFF Jammer=No |Advanced Gyro=No |Related Mechs=[[Mad Cat]] - The famous heavy Omni-mech on which this mech is based. |Tech Category=Clan BattleMechs |Weight Category=Assault BattleMechs |Tonnage Category=90 |OmniMech Category=OmniMechs |cost=C-bills }}
