|Description=Re-engineered by the Clans to mount dual shoulder [[CLBX20|LBX 20]] cannons, [[Jump Jets|jump jets]], and a startling array of support weapons, the Hunchback IIC sacrifices none of its namesake's maneuverability or deadlines in close-quarters fighting.
|Strengths=The Hunchback IIC can mount some of the most potent configurations in the entire medium-weight class thanks to a generous allocation of slots, but the difficulty is primarily in finding the free weight to do so. With two 3-slot [[Weapon Hardpoint|ballistic]] mounts on highly placed gunracks, the Hunchback makes can make an excellent hill sniper if configured with long range [[Autocannon|autocannons]] or [[Gauss Rifle]]s, or can alternately be configured for a short range offense as it is in its default configuration of double [[LBX20]]s. The inclusion of several modest beam weapon slots provide other options as well.
|Weaknesses=A lack of electronic options and relatively slow speed is the big tradeoff the Hunchback IIC faces in exchange for being able to mount a blistering array of weaponry. Armour protection overall on the stock configuration is very light at only 6 tons; this can be augmented to levels comparable to other mediums but requires tradeoffs in weight for the offensive department. 
However, the Hunchback IIC still accelerates, torso twists, and corners as fast as most other medium 'mechs despite its relatively low top speed, allowing it to out maneuver most larger 'mechs - especially vital in an urban environment. The IIC also benefits from a modest profile that is short enough to hide behind hills and low buildings, and is skinny enough to slip through alleyways while still being difficult to hit from a side profile. Each gun rack also occupies its own unique armour slot independent of the torso armour sections, which means a Hunchback IIC will never lose its primary armament unless the racks are specifically targeted.

The small profile and maneuverability (augmented by [[Jump Jets|Jump Jet]] capability) of the Hunchback IIC, coupled with its high punch and low armour makes ambush tactics vital to success - especially so against larger targets. The Hunchback IIC works equally well as a bodyguard for sniper or fire-support 'mechs, or a lone-wolf hunter-killer that seeks out lone and isolated enemies; if it gets in the first shot a Hunchback IIC is more than capable of taking down a target twice its size.
